My Views Through Poetry (eBook)

by (Author)

  • 3,408 Words

We all have thoughts and emotions that sometimes make us wonder who and what we are or what we are doing or have done. Do we or can we even make a difference in this life, and will anyone really care?

This book is intended to make one think, to reflect on their life and those around them. Can you see yourself or anyone you know in the poems? Do they make you pause and give thought or are they just meaningless words?

If you read the poems and like them or get anything from them, then I am satisfied.

Life is a journey and crosses many paths: people we know, things we do and say; thoughts we have and dreams of hope; loves we had and have, as well as the sorrow we have caused.

We all would like to think we are better than the others, yet we are not. We are not even close to being as good as we think we are, but we would like others to think so.

We are all humans and therefore make mistakes. We lie, cheat, and yes, we even at times do good. We like to pat ourselves on the back and say, “Look what I have done,” or point fingers at others when we are caught with our hands in the cookie jar.

We are all dreamers who think we are lovers when in reality we are just losers.
