Stories and travels of missionary servant evangelist Rev Johannes Myors and his ministry Pedal Prayers. Since Feb, 1993, Rev Myors has cycled 265,000 miles around the United States and in Canada. During his 72 missionary bike tours, he has spoken at almost 1,200 churches, performed roadside counseling, helped after natural disasters, built homes with the Fuller Center for Hoising and Habitat for Humanity, and promoted compassionate social action.

Johannes was born in 1956 to Holocaust survivors in Germany. After his bar mitzvah, Johannes attended yeshiva to become a rabbi but dropped out after 18 months. In 1973, Johannes went to the United States as an exchange student for twelfth grade. Because of his exposure to Christianity in the USA, Johannes became curious to find out if Jesus was the Messiah that Jews have been longing for. Around Hannukah 1975, Johannes bought an English New Testament. After reading the Gospels, Johannes became totally convinced that Jesus as in fact the Jewish Messiah and he became a Completed Jew (Jewish Believer in Jesus). After learning about his change of faith, his family banished him, declared him dead, and put a tombstone in a Jewish cemetary around Passover 1976. After finishing his university studies and teaching one year as an elementary school teacher, Johannes immigrated to the United States in 1979. While teaching at a college in Florida, Johannes became a naturlized citizen in 1984.

Being an avid bicyclist, Johannes took a 16,000 mile bike tour around the perimeter of the United States between 1986 and 1988. During 1992, Johannes took another bike tour across the USA. After that bike tour, Johannes moved to Portland, Oregon to work as an outreach caseworker. During mid-February 1993, Johannes experienced a set of four dreams of him cycling around the country. The silence of the last dream was interrupted by one small word "Go". On February 19, 1993, Johannes left Portland, Oregon and started his journey on two-wheels sharing God's compassion with everybody that he meets. On March 27, 1993, he started his ministry Pedal Prayers. In 1998, Johannes was ordained an Evangelical Christian minister.
